CCTV OPERATOR DUTIES
1. Monitoring and Surveillance
- Continuously observe live feeds from CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Track movements within assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
2. Recording and Documentation
- Record and store footage as per company or legal requirements.
- Maintain logs of incidents, unusual activities, or alerts detected on cameras.
3. Incident Response
- Notify security personnel or authorities immediately if suspicious or emergency situations occur.
- Assist in investigations by providing recorded footage when needed.
4. Equipment Management
- Ensure all CCTV cameras and recording equipment are functioning correctly.
- Report faulty cameras or technical issues for maintenance and repair.
5. Compliance and Confidentiality
- Follow company policies and legal regulations regarding surveillance and privacy.
- Handle all video data confidentially and avoid unauthorized sharing.
6. Collaboration
- Work with security officers, law enforcement, and management during investigations or security operations.
- Provide timely reports to supervisors on security trends or incidents.
7. Analysis
- Review recorded footage to identify patterns or security threats.
- Provide insights for improving security measures based on observations.
